The cartridge covers in combination with a 2\/2-way cartridge valve of the types CEE or CHF form the control function in an integrated block system. In many cases, the cover simultaneously forms the connection from the control side of the cartridge to the pilot valves. These pilot valves are either mounted directly on the cover or installed elsewhere in the valve block and connected via control lines to the cartridge. By controlling with various pilot valves, the cartridge can perform pressure, travel and throttle functions or a combination of these. Depending on the desired function, the cover contains the control bores and optionally a stroke limiter, non-return valves or shuttle valves. The Wessel range consists of covers of nominal sizes 16, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 80 and 100 according to DIN 24342 (ISO 7368) as well as the Hydroment standard of NG15-100.
